[For the umpteenth time that day, Izuku Midoriya was left alone to think.
Not a great thing, all things considered, with his mind loving to work overtime and run a million miles a second, rivaling his own speed with full cowling, or Iida's speed with reciproburst activated. If he'd had a notebook (he'd asked for one, but nobody was able to supply him with anything; he couldn't sketch, write, or take note of anything with his hands, so he was left to stew. Stewing was never a good thing, and led his feet to wandering and his mouth to moving.
Wandering, in this case, to what looked like a beach.
All it did was make him think of home. Of the beach he'd cleaned right before he'd gained One For All, and...everything, really.
This was another world. Another planet.
How did he even get here? He'd woken up, still in his nightclothes (a pair of sweatpants and a T-shirt that simply said "Shirt" on it) and ready to go down to the kitchens for something to drink, and then sat down on the couch in the common room to relax for a bit before going back to bed, and he...did he doze off? Regardless, when he came to, he was in a body of water, in a place he'd never been before in his life.
And with everything else he'd learned today, he just had more and more questions that heaped onto each other, piling up until they just overflowed out his mouth in quickly-spoken, low-toned words:]
Did a quirk send me here? The technology used here is far beyond anything that I've seen, not even the support department at UA makes anything that advanced. And what about that planet? is there a way to get back? Will I be able to get back? How will I--
[His thoughts descend into gibberish as he keeps muttering to himself, lost to the couples on the beach with him, the night, or...anything, really.]
