Arrival

[She was in a similar boat (as it were), being suddenly dumped in a foreign amount of water that was also salty to boot. Her duster and boots and everything else wasn't the best for swimming in, either, but the one thing she had going for her was her ability to at least tread water and dog paddle. She would need to get to shore before her heavy clothes tired her out, but first, she needs to paddle over to her hat and grab it before it was lost to the waves--

And as soon as she took hold of it someone else that had splashed down near her was suddenly making a commotion and smacking her in the face as he flailed.]

Dangit! [She splutters both in pain and as water is splashed into her mouth.] Would ya calm down already!
