The sound catches in his throat when she reacts, though. He doesn't really understand why she's so freaked out, at first, but he figures there must be some kind of danger nearby. So he scrambles to his feet, too, and throws a worried look over his shoulder. When he doesn't see any monsters or bandits lurking in the shadows, he looks down at himself. She had only reacted when she turned towards him, so maybe there's something on his shirt?
But there's nothing. No poisonous looking insects or animals. It's just the front of his jacket, which makes her reaction even stranger. She's acting like she's seen a ghost or something dangerous--and then his eyes hone in on Hyperion and it clicks. The giant H, the expression on her face when she finally turned to look at him...she's from Pandora, like he is. She was talking about Helios.
His own face pales. He starts to take a step forward, but changes his mind and stumbles backward instead. He shakes his head and waves his hands, a little frantic. ]
No no no, I'm not--I don't work for Hyperion! [ He throws another glance over his shoulder, almost hoping there's a monster there and he just missed it the first time. ] Not...not anymore, at least.
